Working Experience
Nilufer Oral has extensive experience in international law having served as a legal advisor to the Turkish Foreign Ministry since 1998 on issues concerning law of the sea, energy and climate change. As counsel for Aybay & Aybay she represented large foreign companies and goverments in transactional and maritime matters.Dr.Oral also has experience in US Courts and practiced criminal law for a number of years in Santa.Clara California before moving to Istanbul.She is member of the Law Faculty of Istanbul Bilgi University.She was elected as Councillor to the IUCN Council(2012 - 2016).She has published extensively internationally and spoken at numerous international conferences.
